Chicago

"Saturday, I went to Chicago with my american family. The skyscrapers were so tall. We have visited Chicago and took a lot of pictures. We also went shopping. We went up a building and the view was fantastic. On Sunday, we went to a baseball game, which was very interesting."    Laëtitia

"Saturday, we went to a water park. We did a lot of slides and swam in the pool. We had very good pizza and had a great weekend in the Wisconsin Dells"   Bastian

"Saturday morning, I went to the forrest with my host family. My correspondent's mother explained us how to make mapple syrup. I drove a wheeler in the afternoon. had so much fun."  Yannis

"Friday night, we went to the Brewers game (baseball) in Milwaukee. The Brewers won! On sunday, we went all the way to the top of the Willis tower in Chicago. There are 110 stories in the building but the glass floor is on the 103rd. In the morning, we went to a underground cave. 
We were supposed to go to the pirates museum and the aquarium but did not have enough time anymore to do that."   Florian

"This weekend, we went with some other kids to do a visit on mapple syrup. It was very cool! In the afternoon, i went to Mathis' host family, the Standke's. We went to the pizza ranch. They have really good pizza over there and we got to play video games as well. On Sunday, we went swimming at the YMCA, there was a long slide. lots of fun."  Florentin

"We went to a Brewers game on saturday in Milwaukee and the won against the Chicago Cubs! On sunday, we watched a movie and went to Appleton in the evening to see the "Lion King" show. Had a lot of fun this weekend.  Tanguy

"On saturday, we went to a horse parade with my host family. We got to see the horses from very close and also go to see the horse jacks. I bought a little jacket for myself. After seeing a huge horse, we ate cotton candy and finally went home. It was a fun day !"   Aliénor

"We visited the Ripon College on monday. It's a small university but very big compared to Ripon. We visited the library and some classes. Then we ate at the cafteria and the food was very good ! In the afternoon, we played soccer with the other french students. There was a tie, 3-3."  Joakim

“ Monday I went to school, we did a lot of things. We finished school at 3.10 pm. After school we went to the library and checked out some books. After dinner, we watched a little bit of tv. Then it was time to go to bed. The next morning, we got up and went back to school. When the bell ringed, we went to our classrooms. We had lunch in the cafeteria and went outside to play with the other kids.”  Florian

“Yesterday, I woke up very early. After I got dressed and brushed my teeth, we took the bus to school. The school has two sections, Quest and Murray Park. Our class is on the Quest side. We arrived there at 8. It’s a pretty big room but the school is not that big. We were excited at first to try American food at school but it was not so good. We still had a great day.”   Florentin

“Yesterday, I took the bus and went to school. We studied and visited the school. After class, we went home. We played video games and ate pizza and hot dogs.
Then I took a bath and went to bed. On Tuesday, we went to a concert at school (the 5^th grade choir concert) and Tommy was singing.”     Bastian

“Monday, I went to middle school with my American host student. I met his friends but I don’t remember their names. We went to a reading class. I read a book and then we watched a movie. At 10, Pam, friends’ mom picked us up and we went to the welcome ceremony at the elementary school. I stayed with the other French students in the afternoon. At 3.15, we left school, played some video games and went for a long walk with Cole’s dog.

On Tuesday, I went to the middle school with Cole at all his classes. I read a lot and did some work. After lunch, we played American football. It was very cool.
When Cole had to go to his sport class, we went to the high school for a swim; but I forgot my bathing suit so I couldn’t do it.

We went home then, had snacks, played video games, had dinner and went for a jogging afterwards. After all this, I went straight to bed.”   Tanguy

“Monday, I woke up, ate my breakfast and went to Murray Park/Quest elementary school where all the other French students are. We visited the school (Greenhouse, library, cafeteria…). Then, I went back to middle school with my correspondent. There, they have sport lessons, they play handball. Next they have science lessons so they work on computers about the food chain (I am sure sharks do not eat whales nor me).
After I ate my lunch box, it was band lesson (music class). My correspondent plays the saxophone. We had math class then, I helped them do their math problems.
After school, we went to the YMCA, a place where you can swim, play basketball or tennis and other things. When we got home, we ate dinner, watched a movie and finally went to bed.”    Mathis

Sunday, April 15th : 

"We went to church in the morning, then we blowed balloons, It was so much fun because it was the first time i have ever done that. I am more than happy to be at Karrington's house. "  Alienor

" Yesterday, I played with my friends and Bastian came over with his host family. We played Wii and went to eat an ice cream. It was very fun. " Ellyn

" Sunday, i played video games with Sydney and her sister. I went to a birthday after and ate with my family. For breakfast I had strawberries, muffins and orange juice. " Laetitia

" Yesterday, I went to a birthday party with Isabelle, my host student. There were a lot of people, frenchs and americans.
After we went to the grand parents' house which was fun. I also played with Isabelle's brother. "  Oceana

" We arrived late at night on saturday. After getting home, i changed and went straight to bed. Yesterday, we went to the restaurant for lunch and went swimming in the afternoon. We had tacos for dinner. It was a very good day. "   Yannis

" I got up very early because of the jetlag. I had cereals with milk for breakfast and played video games after that. For lunch, we had cheese burgers.

In the afternoon, we went to the pool and my correspondant's sister came back from a basketball tournament. We had pizza for dinner. "   Drayan

Today we are going to Ripon, Wisconsin in the United States. We go to the airport at 5.45 am and we take the plane to London at 9. The plane ride was very great.

After we arrived in London, we waited 5 hours at the airport, it was difficult but we made it !   Robin.

We did a little movie with Tanguy's camera, we had a lot of fun and the time went by really fast in London. After, we took the plane at 4pm.

There were little tv's in the plane, we could chat, watch movies and play games with other people. Maeva

The plane ride was fun. We arrived to Chicago after 8 hours. We had to wait for a long time to go through custom and as soon as we got our luggage, we jumped in the bus. We all slept in the 3 hours ride to Ripon where our host families were waiting for us.  Joakim
